MOLD TESTING

With an adequate moisture source, mold can develop and spread to virtually any surface --- often without notice. In fact, mold spores are settling in your home all of the time, but they need moisture to multiply. Longstanding moisture in your home from a leaky roof, flooding, or high humidity can create the ideal conditions for dangerous mold to grow. Realistically, there is no way to clear all mold and mold spores from your home. The only way to control mold growth is to control moisture. Your home inspector will look for dampness on sheetrock, wood, ceiling tiles, wallpaper, carpet, insulation and other building materials when inspecting your home. Mold testing is an important tool to find out what might be making you or family member sick.
